Wp-e-Commerce 3.7.6.2 is ready for testing

Hi guys,
Tomorrow I will be releasing the 3.7.6.2 version of wp-e-commerce, what’s in store?
- Paypal standard and Paypal standard 2.0 shipping send shipping details
- Google Checkout do not send shipping if shipping is 0
- New Spanish translations
- Removed ‘Click to Download’ from purchase receipts and transaction results page
- Removed old unused Google Base Code
- New changes to purchase logs totals and tax
- Fixes to javascript errors from ratings.js
- Image Thumbnail Patch submitted by the amazing leewillis77
- Canonical URL / AISEOP fixes
- Backwards compatibility for update quantity code
- Encoded RSS URL so it validates
- New update message display below the auto-upgrade link in the WordPress plugin page submitted by the
awesome husobj - Image Cache fix should speed up those thumbnails
Theres some good stuff in there, and I’ve done some testing on this version, so it should be all good to go. We just wanted to give it some time to stew with the developers incase they spot anything out of the ordinary that requires attention.
So if you want to support the cause please download the version from here and give it a test it out, if you find anything let the developers know.
I create, update and maintain stuff. I guess you'd call me a web developer. Sometimes I do the front stuff, most of the time I do the back stuff. At the moment I'm working within the Instinct Crew on their famous Wordpress Plugin (

I use 3.7.6.2. from the first day of it’s update -through the wordpress dashboard.
I have a major and serious problem. After the customer check’s out and gets the links to the e-mail for download, they get the error : “This download is no longer valid, Please contact the site administrator for more information”.
I have tested several times and it’s not happening -for example- at the third download, but this error happens randomly: maybe to the first download, maybe to the 8th, maybe.. it depends!!!
From yesterday, I’m googling if somebody else has the same problem, but I haven’t found anything yet.
Are you aware of this error? Any help or solution, I would really appreciate it.

Hi Sonia,
So I took sometime to view your site and make a purchase (if you can reimburse me that would be great) So what I found… Your transaction results page is missing (404) which will sometime make your purchase in the sales page (wp-admin) be left at order pending which will make the product download show the error you mentioned..
“This download is no longer valid, Please contact the site administrator for more information”.
So I guess
1. Get your transaction Results Page back
2. Check your Sales logs and make sure the purchase that buyers are complaining about are marked as Payment Accepted,, if they are marked as Order Received Change it.
p/s you should really be sending questions to getshopped.org/forums this site is about development not support

Ooooh! You should have told me, so to do a “virtual buy” for you and send you the links. But that’s fine. You should already have the refund in your e-mail.
Thank you so so so so much for your suggestions, I’ll try them all.
And if I have the same error again, I’ll follow your advise to send the question to the forums.
